Founded in 2015 by Ms. Rabia Tekince, Vice President of Karya Group, the Ege Education and Rehabilitation Center for Special Children was established with a mission to support children diagnosed with autism through modern, scientific, and individualized education programs. Inspired by her own journey as a parent of a child with autism, Ms. Tekince initiated EGE Autism Association and the rehabilitation center to contribute meaningfully to early childhood intervention, special education, and community awareness.
Ege Education and Rehabilitation Center is designed as an innovative institution that focuses on the developmental needs of each child, guided by evidence-based practices and multidisciplinary collaboration. Our approach prioritizes early intervention, structured learning environments, and personalized support plans that address the unique strengths and challenges of every student.
Our programs are built on interaction- and communication-based educational models. In line with this philosophy, the Center offers a wide range of specialized services, including:
- Language and Speech Therapy: Strengthening communication skills through targeted, individualized therapy sessions.
- Ergotherapy (Occupational Therapy): Enhancing sensory integration, motor development, and daily life skills.
- Special Education: Delivering structured, personalized learning programs tailored to each child’s developmental profile.
- Psychological Counseling: Supporting emotional well-being through qualified clinical guidance.
- Art, Music, and Physical Education: Encouraging creativity, emotional expression, and motor development through complementary activities.
- Family & School Support: Providing essential training, counseling, and coordination to ensure consistency across home and school environments.
Our educational and assessment processes are grounded in a multidisciplinary model that prioritizes evidence-based scientific methods. Beyond supporting children, we work extensively with families empowering them through training programs and continuous guidance that ensure holistic, sustainable progress.
Through the Ege Education and Rehabilitation Center, we carry out annual social responsibility initiatives aimed at raising awareness, enhancing community understanding, and promoting inclusion. Our goal is not only to educate children, but also to strengthen families and society by fostering an environment where every child can realize their full potential.
Guided by compassion, scientific rigor, and a commitment to social impact, Ege Education and Rehabilitation Center continues to stand as a trusted institution for early intervention, autism education, and family empowerment.
